Learn everything you need to know about adding, editing or deleting floorplans in RmoniWeb.
To make sure you are able to use this functionality, please make sure that the permissions are enabled through Roles or Users. Only users with the Admin role have this permission by default. Use the permission:
- Use floor plans
- Optional: Edit floor plans
Please note, that the page needs to be refreshed using ctrl+f5 to see these menu-items after changing the permissions.
Step 1: Add a floorplan
Navigate to Administration. When selecting this menu item, several other menu-items are shown. Select Organizational units.
Select the organizational unit where the floorplan needs to be added and then select the last tab Upload floor plan. Upload the floorplan in one of the following file types: JPG/JPEG/PNG/GIF or WEBP.
The file size may not exceed 5MB. Furthermore, it is recommended that the uploaded image is of a ratio of 16:9.
Step 2: Add sensors to the floor plan
Head over to the floor plan page. This can be done by simply clicking on the green button Set up floorplan once the floorplan has been uploaded. You will enter the page in Edit mode which enables users to add / edit / delete sensors.
The sensors that are shown are standard set to sensors of the organizational unit the floor plan was added to. This option can be deselected to view sensors of underlying organizational units as well. Per sensor the following actions can be performed:
- Add a sensor: Simply drag and drop the sensor from the right side of the screen on to the floor plan.
- Edit a sensor: Use the drag function to replace the sensor on the floor plan
- Remove a sensor: Remove a sensor from the floor plan by dragging the sensor to the right side of the screen.
Once the sensor placement is completed, the Edit mode can be switched off at the top right of the screen. This can always (as long as the user has the right permissions) be activated again.
Step 3: Usage of the floor plan
Once the floor plan is set up, it can be used to monitor the sensor on the floor plan. The following items are shown per sensor:
- Colour indication
The color green indicates that the sensor is online and not in alarm (regardless wether an alarm is set), red indicates that the sensor is online but in alarm. Blue indicates that the sensor is offline. - Temperature measurement
The latest temperature measurement is shown. If there are no temperature measurements yet the text "- -" will be displayed. - Sensor name
The name of the sensor is shown at the top. - Graph
The temperature graph of the past 24 hours is shown. - Detail button
At the top right of the pop-up a magnifying glass is shown which will lead the user to the sensor detail page.
Step 4: Tips!
